TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. QUOTATIONS
All prices quoted are subject to revision to those ruling at the time of despatch. No other condition shall prevail over these terms and conditions nor may any salesman or agent authorise any departure from them unless agreed in writing to the seller.
2. PRICES
Prices quoted on the web site do not include V.A.T. which will be charged on all purchases.
3. CARRIAGE AND PACKING
Except where expressly agreed and documented to the contrary, carriage and packing within England is included on all orders of over £500.00 plus VAT for all customers and £1000.00 plus VAT for stockists and agents. For orders under these amounts, a charge for carriage and packing will be made. There is a carriage and packaging charge on all free samples.
4. DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
The seller accepts liability for damage in transit, (except where the goods are carried in the customer’s vehicle) provided the carrier’s consignment of our delivery note (stating full details of damage) is signed to that effect.
Please inspect all goods immediately on delivery, this means opening tubes to check trims, glancing over (but not opening) packs of flooring for visible damage. If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or missing item, make sure it's noted on the courier's paperwork. No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the courier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged or missing. All claims must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will incur the return delivery charge where applicable.
No responsibility will be accepted once the delivery note and or the carriers consignment note is signed by the customer or his agent as received in perfect condition. No deliveries can be signed as “unexamined”. No subsequent claims will be accepted.
5. LOSS IN TRANSIT
The same terms apply as in clause 4, provided the seller is notified in writing within 2 days of the invoice date.
6. TITLE
Goods sold by the seller shall remain the absolute property of the seller, until payment is received of all the amounts invoiced by the seller to the customer.
7. RISK
Delivery shall be deemed to be made and risk in the goods pass to the customer at the time the goods arrive at the customer’s premises.
8. PAYMENT
Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due and payable into PayPal account to Elco Services Group via the web site.
9. GOODS RETURNS
solidbambooflooring.co.uk as part of ELCO Services Group will accept
whole orders (except special orders) back unopened in the Original Packaging for
whatever reason within 7 days of receipt. You will need to return the goods back
to us via your chosen courier, and a 30% handling charge will be deducted from your
credit note. Except where expressly agreed and documented to the contrary, ELCO Services
Group do not accept part order returns
All credits will be processed within 28 days. Please note that ELCO Services Group can only refund delivery costs if the return is a result of ELCO Services Group error. Clients who cancel the agreement will be charged for the reasonable costs incurred by ELCO Services Group. If an order has been dispatched further charges may apply. In the case of a verbal order ELCO Services Group will always read back your order at the time, and your agreement will form a contract. ELCO Services Group are unable to cancel or refund any monies paid on special order items after they have been ordered.
Check that the boards are flawless before laying them. ELCO Services Group will not accept any claims for damaged or faulty items once the flooring has been installed. Where the buyer has used or installed the goods such use or installation shall be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition. You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put.

10. COMPLAINTS
All complaints for goods supplied have to be notified to us in writing on our standard ‘Customer Complaint Form’ which is available on request giving full details of the nature of complaint. The time limit for all complaints is 14 days from the date the goods are delivered.
11. LAW
These Terms of Conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with English Law.
12. The above terms and conditions are deemed to be fully accepted by ordering or buying from us. By ordering either a sample, quotation or any good from us implies you full agree and accept our terms and conditions.
